A humanitarian designer by training, Régis Lemberthe focuses on the codes inherent to life in society, both moral and practical, and on the confusion resulting of their disappearance, modification or misinterpretation.
Through objects, images, texts and installations he explores culture as the common ground on which ideas and techniques flourish and, in an attempt to contribute to its diversity, develops new content. This can take the shape of new techniques to teach through open-source projects, collaborative action striving to bring a change to local communities, or installations evolving in unforeseeable patterns to render natural phenomenons visible.
Born in France, Régis graduated as a master in Humanitarian Design and Sustainable Living from Design Academy Eindhoven before settling his practice in Berlin in 2009.
